NMS Remembers: A Collaborative Approach to Social Studies
Gone are the days of bristol board! Come share how you can combine the web, photography, and video to change a regular classroom social studies project from humdrum to exciting. Join us as we explore how these tools were used to help students connect with their past and their community and to honor those who sacrificed their lives in past conflicts in this exciting Remembrance (Veteran’s) Day project. Participants will come away with valuable project plans to allow students to engage with family and history. Sample projects will be shown.
